Cassava Cake
This delicious Filipino dessert is made with grated cassava, coconut milk, and condensed milk.
Ingredients - Serves 8
- Coconut flakes - 1/4 cup
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Grated cheese - 1/2 cup
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Butter - 2 tablespoons, melted
- Eggs - 3
- Condensed milk - 1 can (400g)
- Coconut milk - 1 can (400ml)
- Grated cassava - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the grated cassava, coconut milk, condensed milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, grated cheese, and sugar. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Sprinkle the coconut flakes on top of the cassava cake.
- Slice and serve warm or chilled. Enjoy!
