Forest Hill Fruit Tarts

- Assorted fresh fruits - 2 cups
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Egg yolks - 2
- Milk - 2 cups
- Cornstarch - 3 tablespoons
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Tart shells - 6
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Place the tart shells on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.

- Return the egg mixture to the saucepan and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the butter and vanilla extract.
- Pour the custard into the baked tart shells and let cool.
- Top the tarts with the fresh fruits and serve.
