Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add the tamarind paste and stir until it is fully dissolved.
  3. Add the fish fillets to the pot and cook until they are fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the fish and set aside.
  4. Add the pineapple, tomatoes, okra, bean sprouts, and elephant ear stem to the pot. Cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the fish sauce, sugar, and salt to the pot and stir to combine.
  6. Return the fish to the pot and add the rice paddy herb, chili peppers, and garlic. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Serve the soup hot with a side of steamed rice.
