Cajun Shrimp Burger
A delicious and spicy burger made with shrimp and Cajun seasoning, served with a tangy remoulade sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce - 4 leaves
- Hamburger buns - 4
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Egg - 1
- Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
- Cajun seasoning - 2 tablespoons
- Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
Let's Get Started
- In a food processor, combine the shrimp, Cajun seasoning, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, and green onions. Pulse until well combined.
- Form the shrimp mixture into 4 patties.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, until they are cooked through and have a nice char.
- In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise and lemon juice to make the remoulade sauce.
- Spread the remoulade sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a lettuce leaf, a shrimp patty, and a slice of tomato. Cover with the top half of the bun.
- Serve the Cajun shrimp burgers immediately, with extra remoulade sauce on the side.
