Cabbage and Ham Soup

- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Thyme - 1 teaspoon
- Bay leaf - 1
- Chicken broth - 6 cups
- Potatoes - 2 medium, diced
- Carrots - 2 medium, sliced
- Cabbage - 1 small head, shredded
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 large, chopped
- Ham - 1 lb, diced
Let's Get Started
- In a large pot, cook the diced ham over medium heat until browned.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Add the shredded cabbage, sliced carrots, diced potatoes, chicken broth, bay leaf, thyme, salt, and pepper to the pot.
