Cabbage and Broccoli Stir Fry
This healthy and flavorful stir fry is made with cabbage, broccoli, and a delicious sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - To taste
- Salt - To taste
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Broccoli - 1 head, cut into florets
- Cabbage - 1/2 head, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add sliced cabbage and broccoli florets to the skillet and stir fry for 5-7 minutes, until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the vegetables and toss to coat evenly.
- Continue cooking for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and serve hot as a side dish or over steamed rice.
- Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.
