Cabbage, Spinach, and Cheese Casserole
This delicious casserole combines the flavors of cabbage, spinach, and cheese for a comforting and nutritious dish.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
- Cheddar cheese - 1 cup, shredded
- Milk - 1 cup
- Eggs - 3
- Nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 medium, diced
- Spinach - 2 cups, chopped
- Cabbage - 1 small head, shredded
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the shredded cabbage and chopped spinach to the skillet. Cook until the cabbage is wilted and the spinach is cooked down, about 5 minutes. Season with salt, black pepper, and nutmeg.
