Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F and prepare it for indirect cooking.
  2. Trim the excess fat off the brisket and apply a generous amount of BBQ rub.
  3. Place the brisket on the smoker, fat side up, and smoke until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Wrap the brisket in aluminum foil and continue to cook until the internal temperature reaches 195°F.
  5. Remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Cut the point half of the brisket into 1-inch cubes.
  7. Place the cubes in a foil pan and toss with the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, honey, and butter.
  8. Return the pan to the smoker and cook for another 2 hours, or until the sauce is caramelized.
  9. Serve the burnt ends hot with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
