Broccoli Beef Stir Fry
This delicious broccoli beef stir fry is made with tender beef, fresh broccoli, and a savory sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Cooked rice - 4 cups, for serving
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1/4 cup
- Broccoli florets - 4 cups
- Beef sirloin - 1 pound, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add the sliced beef and stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and stir fry for 3-4 minutes, until crisp-tender.
- Return the beef to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli.
- Stir fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
