- Water - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
- Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Beef broth - 1 cup
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 large, sliced
- Bottom round roast - 3 pounds
Let's Get Started
- Season the bottom round roast with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the roast on all sides until browned.
- Transfer the roast to a slow cooker and add the sliced onion and minced garlic.
