Boti Kebab
Boti Kebab is a popular Indian dish made with marinated chunks of meat, grilled to perfection.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Lemon wedges - For serving
- Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Onion - 1, finely chopped
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - To taste
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tablespoons
- Yogurt - 1/2 cup
- Boneless lamb or beef - 500 grams, cut into cubes
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt to make the marinade.
- Add the meat cubes to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated meat onto skewers, alternating with pieces of chopped onion.
- Brush the skewers with oil and place them on the grill.
- Grill for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and sprinkle with fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges and mint chutney.
