Bok Choy and Shrimp Stir Fry
This delicious stir fry combines tender bok choy and succulent shrimp in a flavorful sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Cooked rice - 4 cups, for serving
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
- Bok choy - 4 heads, chopped
Let's Get Started
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped bok choy and stir fry for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
- Pour the sauce over the bok choy in the skillet and stir to coat evenly.
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to combine with the bok choy and sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the bok choy and shrimp stir fry over cooked rice.
