Bok Choy and Garlic Fried Rice
This flavorful fried rice is made with bok choy, garlic, and a combination of soy sauce and sesame oil.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Green onions - 2, sliced (for garnish)
- Black pepper - To taste
- Salt - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Bok choy - 4 cups, chopped
- Cooked rice - 4 cups, chilled
Let's Get Started
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add chopped bok choy and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes.
- Push the bok choy to one side of the skillet and add chilled cooked rice to the other side.
- Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, combining the rice and bok choy.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions.
