Bok Choy and Chicken Dumplings
These delicious dumplings are filled with a flavorful mixture of bok choy and chicken, and steamed to perfection.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Water - For steaming
- Wonton wrappers - 24
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Ground chicken - 1 cup
- Bok choy - 2 cups, finely chopped
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, combine the bok choy, ground chicken, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water and fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place a steamer basket on top of the pot.
- Arrange the dumplings in the steamer basket, making sure they don't touch each other. Cover and steam for 15-20 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through.
- Serve the dumplings hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
