Black Pepper Beef Stir Fry
This delicious black pepper beef stir fry is made with tender beef, colorful vegetables, and a flavorful black pepper sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 2 teaspoons, freshly ground
- Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1, thinly sliced
- Bell peppers - 2, thinly sliced
- Beef sirloin - 1 pound, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add beef slices and stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger. Stir fry for 1 minute.
- Add sliced bell peppers and onion. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir fry for another 2 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and vegetables.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
