Bibimbap
Bibimbap is a traditional Korean dish made with rice, mixed vegetables, beef, and a spicy sauce. It's a delicious and healthy meal that's easy to customize to your taste.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Gochujang (korean chili paste) - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Eggs - 4
- Bean sprouts - 1 cup
- Zucchini - 1 cup, julienned
- Carrots - 1 cup, julienned
- Spinach - 2 cups
- Beef - 1/2 pound, thinly sliced
- Cooked white rice - 4 cups
Let's Get Started
- Cook the beef in a pan over medium heat until it's browned and cooked through. Set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté each type of vegetable separately with a little bit of sesame oil. Set each aside when done.
- Fry the eggs in a pan over medium heat until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.
- To assemble the bibimbap, place a scoop of rice in each bowl. Arrange the cooked beef and vegetables on top of the rice. Place a fried egg on top of each bowl.
- Mix the soy sauce and gochujang together to make the sauce. Drizzle the sauce over each bowl before serving.
