Bi Cuon

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Prepare the pork by cooking it until tender, then shred it into thin strips.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, garlic, and chili pepper to make the dipping sauce.
  3. Fill a large bowl with warm water. Dip one rice paper wrapper into the water for a few seconds until it becomes pliable.
  4. Place the softened rice paper on a clean surface. Add a lettuce leaf, a few mint and cilantro leaves, some bean sprouts, julienned cucumber and carrot, and a handful of shredded pork on top of the rice paper.
  5. Fold the sides of the rice paper over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a roll.
  6. Repeat the process with the remaining rice paper wrappers and filling ingredients.
  7. Serve the Bi Cuon rolls with the dipping sauce on the side.
  8. Enjoy!
