Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add the yogurt and mix well.
  3. Gradually add water and knead into a soft dough.
  4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 2 hours.
  5. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.
  6. Flatten the balls and roll them out into a circular shape.
  7. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
  8. Fry the bhaturas one at a time, pressing gently with a slotted spoon until they puff up.
  9. Flip the bhatura and fry until it turns golden brown on both sides.
  10. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  11. Serve hot with chole or any curry of your choice.
