Bell Pepper and Steak Stir Fry
This delicious stir fry combines tender steak with colorful bell peppers in a flavorful sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Green onions - 2, sliced (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Beef broth - 1/2 cup
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 medium, thinly sliced
- Bell peppers - 2 large, thinly sliced
- Flank steak - 1 pound, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, cornstarch, and beef broth. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add the sliced steak and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
