Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until golden brown.
  3. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook for another minute.
  4. In a blender, blend the soaked cashew nuts with a little water to make a smooth paste.
  5. Add the beef cubes to the pan and cook until browned on all sides.
  6. Add the tomato, cashew paste, yogurt, and all the spices (garam masala, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt). Mix well.
  7. Cover the pan and let the beef cook in the spices for about 45 minutes, or until tender.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan bread.
