Bay Area Bánh Mì

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and warm the baguette until it's slightly toasted.
  2. Slice the warm baguette lengthwise but not all the way through.
  3. Spread a generous amount of mayonnaise on the inside of the baguette.
  4. Drizzle the soy sauce over the mayonnaise.
  5. Layer your choice of protein on the bottom half of the baguette.
  6. Top the protein with the pickled carrots and daikon.
  7. Add the sliced jalapeno peppers and fresh cilantro.
  8. Close the sandwich, cut into 4 equal parts, and serve.
