Balsamic Glazed Burger
A juicy burger glazed with a sweet and tangy balsamic reduction, topped with fresh tomatoes and lettuce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Tomato - 1 large, sliced
- Lettuce - 4 leaves
- Hamburger buns - 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Balsamic vinegar - 1/2 cup
- Ground beef - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- In a small saucepan, combine the balsamic vinegar and brown sugar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until reduced by half, about 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, brush the burgers with the balsamic glaze.
- Serve the burgers on the buns, topped with the lettuce and tomato.
