Bacon Butty
A classic British sandwich made with crispy bacon and buttered bread.
Ingredients - Serves 1
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Ketchup - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Bread - 2 slices
- Bacon - 4 slices
Let's Get Started
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the bacon slices and cook until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the bacon from the pan and drain on a paper towel.
- Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Place the cooked bacon on one slice of bread.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread ketchup on the other slice of bread.
- Place the ketchup side down on top of the bacon slice to form a sandwich.
- Cut the sandwich in half and serve.
