Bacon and Gouda Grilled Cheese
This delicious grilled cheese sandwich is made with crispy bacon and melted Gouda cheese.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Bread - 4 slices
- Gouda cheese - 4 slices
- Bacon - 6 slices
Let's Get Started
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Place two slices of Gouda cheese on the unbuttered side of two bread slices.
- Top the cheese with three slices of cooked bacon.
- Place the remaining bread slices on top, buttered side facing out.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the skillet and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Cut the sandwiches in half and serve warm.
