Bacon and Gouda Grilled Cheese

Let's Get Started

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place two slices of Gouda cheese on the unbuttered side of two bread slices.
  4. Top the cheese with three slices of cooked bacon.
  5. Place the remaining bread slices on top, buttered side facing out.
  6. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  7. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the skillet and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve warm.
