Bacon and Egg Ramen
This delicious ramen dish combines crispy bacon, soft-boiled eggs, and flavorful broth for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, thinly sliced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken broth - 4 cups
- Eggs - 2
- Bacon - 4 slices, chopped
- Ramen noodles - 2 packs
Let's Get Started
- Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pot and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the pot.
- In the same pot, add the chicken broth, soy sauce, green onions, sesame oil, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- While the broth is simmering, prepare soft-boiled eggs by boiling them for 6-7 minutes. Once cooked, remove the eggs from the boiling water and place them in a bowl of ice water to cool. Peel and set aside.
- Divide the cooked ramen noodles into serving bowls.
- Pour the hot broth over the noodles in each bowl.
- Top each bowl with crispy bacon and a soft-boiled egg.
- Garnish with additional green onions and chili flakes, if desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
