Let's Get Started

  1. Cook the bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pot and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the collard greens to the pot and cook until they start to wilt, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the greens are tender.
  5. Crumble the cooked bacon and stir it into the greens before serving.
