Bacon and Egg Pie

Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until it's crispy. Remove it from the skillet and let it cool, then chop it into small pieces.
  3. Roll out one sheet of the pie crust and use it to line a 9-inch pie dish.
  4. Spread the chopped bacon evenly over the pie crust.
  5. Crack the eggs into the pie dish, on top of the bacon. Try to spread them out evenly.
  6. Pour the milk over the eggs and bacon, then season with salt and pepper.
  7. Roll out the second sheet of pie crust and place it over the top of the pie. Crimp the edges to seal it, then cut a few slits in the top to allow steam to escape.
  8. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the eggs are set.
  9. Let the pie cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
