Bacalao a La Llauna
Bacalao a la Llauna is a traditional Catalan dish made with salt cod, garlic, paprika, and a rich tomato sauce.

- Parsley - For garnish
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce - 2 cups
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
- Salt cod - 1 kg, soaked overnight
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe pan over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the paprika and red pepper flakes and cook for another minute.
- Add the tomato sauce and bring to a simmer.
- Add the soaked cod to the pan, skin side up. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the pan to the oven and bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the cod is cooked through.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
