- Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
- Salt - To taste
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ginger - 1 inch piece, grated
- Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Green chillies - 2, finely chopped
- Green peas - 1/2 cup, boiled

Let's Get Started
- Mash the boiled potatoes and peas in a large bowl.
- Add the chopped green chillies, coriander leaves, grated ginger, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the bread crumbs to the potato mixture and mix well. The bread crumbs will help to bind the mixture.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a round, flat tikki.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Shallow fry the tikkis on both sides until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain the tikkis on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Serve the Aloo Tikki hot with green chutney or tamarind chutney.
