Aloo Tikki

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Mash the boiled potatoes and peas in a large bowl.
  2. Add the chopped green chillies, coriander leaves, grated ginger, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add the bread crumbs to the potato mixture and mix well. The bread crumbs will help to bind the mixture.
  4. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a round, flat tikki.
  5. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Shallow fry the tikkis on both sides until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Drain the tikkis on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  7. Serve the Aloo Tikki hot with green chutney or tamarind chutney.
