Alfredo Sauce
This creamy and rich Alfredo sauce is perfect for pasta dishes.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped (for garnish)
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Parmesan cheese - 1 cup, grated
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- Butter - 1/2 cup
Let's Get Started
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce the heat to low and gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Continue to cook the sauce for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
