  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs, milk, egg, half of the minced garlic, half of the chopped onion, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 10 minutes. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining garlic and onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the tomato sauce and wine to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
  6. Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for 30 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
  7. Serve the Albondigas en Salsa Española with crusty bread or over rice.
