Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, garlic, ginger, and green onions to make the marinade.
  2. Place the beef short ribs in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the beef short ribs from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
  5. Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Season the beef short ribs with salt and pepper.
  7. Grill the beef short ribs for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  8. Remove the beef short ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  9. Slice the beef short ribs against the grain and serve hot.
