Yvette's Special Pasta is a delicious and flavorful pasta dish that combines fresh ingredients with a touch of spice.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 cup, grated
- Fresh basil - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Crushed red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black olives - 1/2 cup, sliced
- Cherry tomatoes - 1 cup, halved
- Yellow bell pepper - 1, diced
- Red bell pepper - 1, diced
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Penne pasta - 8 ounces
Let's Get Started
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add the diced red and yellow bell peppers to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, until slightly softened.
- Add the cherry tomatoes, black olives, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes, until the tomatoes start to release their juices.
