Vegan Tempeh Tacos
These vegan tempeh tacos are packed with flavor and protein. They're easy to make and perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Vegan cheese - 1/2 cup, shredded
- Avocado - 1, sliced
- Tomato - 1, diced
- Lettuce - 1 cup, shredded
- Taco shells - 8
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Taco seasoning - 1 packet
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1, finely chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Tempeh - 8 ounces
Let's Get Started
- Crumble the tempeh into a bowl and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the crumbled tempeh, taco seasoning, and water to the pan. Stir well to combine.

- Warm the taco shells in the oven according to the package instructions.
