Upton Udon Noodles with Clams
A delicious seafood dish featuring udon noodles and fresh clams in a savory broth.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- White wine - 1/2 cup
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Fresh clams - 500 grams
- Udon noodles - 200 grams
Let's Get Started
- Cook the udon noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add the clams to the pan and pour in the white wine. Cover the pan and let the clams steam until they open, about 10 minutes.
- Remove the clams from the pan and set aside. Discard any clams that did not open.
- In the same pan, add the soy sauce and green onions. Stir to combine.
- Add the cooked udon noodles to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Add the cooked clams back into the pan and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the udon noodles and clams hot, garnished with extra green onions if desired.
