Let's Get Started

  1. Cook the udon noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. Set aside.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  4. Add the beef slices and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 1 minute.
  6. Add the carrot, bell pepper, and green onions. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
  7. Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the soy sauce mixture. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  8. Divide the cooked udon noodles between two bowls.
  9. Top the noodles with the beef and vegetable mixture.
  10. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  11. Serve hot and enjoy!
