Turducken
Turducken is a dish consisting of a deboned chicken stuffed into a deboned duck, which is then stuffed into a deboned turkey. It is a delicious and impressive centerpiece for any holiday feast.

- Butter - 1 cup, melted
- Poultry seasoning - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken - 1 (3-4 pounds)
- Duck - 1 (4-5 pounds)
- Turkey - 1 (12-14 pounds)
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by removing the giblets and neck, and rinsing it thoroughly.
- Season the turkey inside and out with salt, black pepper, and poultry seasoning.
- Place the turkey on a flat surface and carefully debone it, keeping the skin intact.
- Repeat the deboning process with the duck and chicken.
- Layer the stuffing of your choice between the deboned turkey, duck, and chicken.
- Carefully roll the layered meats together, securing with kitchen twine.
- Place the turducken on a rack in a roasting pan.
- Brush the melted butter all over the turducken.
- Cover the turducken loosely with foil and roast for 4 hours.
- Remove the foil and continue roasting for an additional 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the turducken rest for 30 minutes before carving.
- Slice and serve the turducken as the centerpiece of your holiday feast.
