Tortilla Española Latte
This savory Tortilla Española Latte is a unique twist on the classic Spanish omelette, infused with the flavors of coffee and served as a latte.
Ingredients - Serves 1
- Milk - 1 cup
- Coffee - 1 shot of espresso
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Onion - 1/4 cup, finely chopped
- Potato - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Eggs - 2
Let's Get Started
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced potatoes and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the potatoes from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

- In a separate cup, prepare a shot of espresso.
- In a saucepan, heat the milk until hot but not boiling.
- Using a frother or whisk, froth the milk until it becomes creamy and foamy.
- Pour the frothed milk into a latte glass.
- Add the shot of espresso to the frothed milk.
- Gently place the cooked tortilla on top of the latte.
