Thyme and Lemon Grilled Tofu

Ingredients - Serves 2
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh thyme - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Extra firm tofu - 1 block (14 oz)
Let's Get Started
- Drain and press the tofu to remove excess moisture.
- In a bowl, whisk together the thyme, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Cut the tofu into slices or cubes, then place them in a shallow dish.
- Pour the marinade over the tofu, making sure each piece is coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for more flavor.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
