Teriyaki Glazed Salmon

Ingredients - Serves 2

Let's Get Started

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, cornstarch, and water to make the teriyaki glaze.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the teriyaki glaze over them. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the salmon fillets from the marinade, reserving the marinade.
  5. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin side down, and cook for 2-3 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  6. Flip the salmon fillets and brush the tops with the reserved teriyaki glaze.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  9. Serve the teriyaki glazed salmon with steamed rice or vegetables, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
