Tarta de Queso
A creamy and delicious Spanish cheesecake, also known as 'La Viña Cheesecake'.
Ingredients - Serves 8
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- All-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- Eggs - 3 large
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Cream cheese - 500 grams
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) and grease a springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add the heavy cream, flour, vanilla extract, and salt. Beat until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
- Let the cheesecake cool in the pan on a wire rack.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before serving.
