Tandoori Shrimp
Delicious and flavorful tandoori shrimp marinated in a blend of spices and grilled to perfection.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Lemon wedges - For serving
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Greek yogurt - 1/2 cup
- Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, tandoori masala, paprika, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and salt. Mix well to make the marinade.
- Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers.
- Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
- Grill the shrimp skewers for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and slightly charred.
- Remove the shrimp from the skewers and garnish with fresh cilantro.
- Serve the tandoori shrimp with lemon wedges on the side.
