Sweet Potato Casserole
This sweet potato casserole is a delicious and comforting side dish that is perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients - Serves 8
- Butter - 2 tablespoons, cold, for topping
- Flour - 1/4 cup, for topping
- Brown sugar - 1/2 cup, for topping
- Pecans - 1/2 cup, chopped
- Nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Eggs - 2, beaten
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Brown sugar - 1/2 cup
- Butter - 1/2 cup, melted
- Sweet potatoes - 4 large, peeled and cubed
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Place the sweet potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain the sweet potatoes and transfer to a large mixing bowl.
