Summer Truffle Pizza

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and mushrooms and cook until the mushrooms are soft, about 5 minutes.
  4. Spread the mushroom mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a border for the crust.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the mushrooms.
  6. Drizzle the truffle oil over the pizza.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. If using a pizza stone, carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated stone in the oven. If not, place the pizza on a baking sheet and put it in the oven.
  9. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  10. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  11. Top with fresh basil leaves and shaved summer truffles before serving.
