Stir Fried Beef with Broccoli

Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1/4 cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Broccoli - 2 cups, cut into florets
- Beef sirloin - 1 pound, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add the beef and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until it is fully cooked. Remove the beef from the wok and set it aside.
- In the same wok, add another tablespoon of oil. Add the garlic and stir-fry for a minute until it is fragrant.
- Add the broccoli and water. Cover the wok and let it steam for 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
- Return the beef to the wok and stir everything together. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the stir-fry hot with steamed rice.
