Steamed Green Beans with Lemon Mint Dressing

Let's Get Started

  1. Place a steamer basket in a large pot with 1 inch of water. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add the green beans to the steamer basket, cover, and steam until tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. While the beans are steaming, whisk together the mint, lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Once the beans are done, carefully remove them from the pot and toss them in the lemon-mint dressing until well coated.
  5. Serve the beans warm, or chill them in the refrigerator for 1 hour to serve cold.
