Squid Ink Pasta
This unique pasta dish features a rich, savory flavor from the squid ink, complemented by the freshness of seafood and tomatoes.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Parsley - 1/4 cup, chopped
- White wine - 1/2 cup
- Seafood mix - 1 pound (shrimp, squid, mussels)
- Cherry tomatoes - 1 cup, halved
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Squid ink pasta - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- Cook the squid ink pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook until they start to soften, about 5 minutes.
- Add the seafood mix to the skillet and cook until the seafood is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Cook for another 5 minutes, until the wine has reduced by half.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the pasta is heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
