Spicy Tuna Linguine
A delicious and spicy seafood pasta dish that's easy to make and packed full of flavor.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Parsley - A handful, chopped
- Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams, halved
- Canned tuna in oil - 2 cans (120 grams each)
- Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Linguine - 400 grams
Let's Get Started
- Cook the linguine in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and chili flakes to the pan and sauté until fragrant.
- Drain the tuna and add it to the pan, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Add the cherry tomatoes to the pan and cook until they start to soften.
- Drain the pasta, reserving a cup of the pasta water.
- Add the pasta to the pan with the tuna and tomatoes, adding some of the reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper and stir in the chopped parsley.
- Serve the spicy tuna linguine hot, with extra chili flakes on top if desired.
