Spicy Tofu Stir Fry
This spicy tofu stir-fry is a delicious and healthy vegan dish packed with flavor and protein.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Carrots - 2, julienned
- Broccoli florets - 1 cup
- Red onion - 1, sliced
- Bell peppers - 2, sliced
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Sriracha sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Firm tofu - 1 block, cubed
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sriracha sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well.
- Add the cubed tofu to the sauce mixture and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated tofu and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5 minutes.
- Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers, red onion, broccoli florets, and julienned carrots. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the tofu to the skillet and toss with the vegetables.
- Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
