  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, egg, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into small meatballs.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 10 minutes.
  3. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the tomato sauce and red wine. Bring to a simmer.
